Our cat Candy stayed at Wicklow Pet Hotel for her first visit last week. Having seen all the photos and videos on... Facebook we felt assured that this would be the best place for her and Karen did not let us down! From the video Karen shared of Candy's stay we could see that Candy had settled in well, was very happy and being very well cared for. The cat cabins have all the comforts of home, a super heat lamp and an outdoor area so we had no doubt Candy would be very comfortable. This is truly a 5 star pet hotel with fantastic care, attention and follow up. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Karen and Wicklow Pet Hotel and we're about to book Candy in for a second stay!read more

Thank You Karen and the team for taking such good care of our little Cosmo. We were a bit nervous to leave our cat... Cosmo for a few days for the first time ever. After meeting Karen and seeing the excellent accomodation facilities, she put our minds at ease. We felt Cosmo was very well looked after and Karen gives each cat personal time and attention. When we collected him he was a very happy cat. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Wicklow Pet Hotel. Cosmo says thanks! 🐾read more

I left Minnie with Karen and the team for a few days and the second she got into her room she was totally relaxed and... felt right at home which was surprising to me because usually she's very shy with new people and places!Great to have the peace of minding knowing that that she was in good hands while I was away. Can definitely recommend and hope to use again if I book in good time! 😎👍read more

Our dachshund stayed here the first time in August and we’ll definitely be back. The booking, drop off, pick up and... everything in between was expertly and smoothly handled. Karen and the team’s professionalism and care was palpable, and we went away feeling confident Billy would be well cared for. We’d recommend WPH wholeheartedly to anyone.read more

We just picked up our dog, Peanut, from Karen and her wonderful team at Wicklow Pet Hotel. All I can say is that from... start to finish the ‘service’ was incredible. I say ‘service’ because it’s much more than that, from the moment we first made contact with Karen we knew Peanut would be taken care of, it was a huge weight off our minds since it was the first time leaving our dog anywhere. We absolutely loved the Facebook updates. Drop off and collection were highly professional and the sign of a well oiled machine. Karen was able to say what went well and what needs improvement too which to us was incredible as we are trying our best to improve our little dog! Best wishes to Karen and the team on the upcoming break and we look forward to sending Peanut back when the opportunity arises! He is currently passed out in his bed from all the fun he had!!read more

Bailey has his first holiday in the Pet Hotel this weekend and he is genuinely the happiest dog in the planet on his... return! I think he played and ran for 3 days solid! From the moment that we decided to book the Pet Hotel, I have been struck by their professionalism;- the attention to detail, the clear instructions and the overall service has been second to none. Karen and her team are amazing. They just ooze warmth and competence when you meet them, so from being a nervous couple driving in with our dog initially, we drove out with absolute certainty that Bailey would be in very safe hands. Our ten month old puppy, Noggin, has recently stayed on two occasions at the Wicklow Pet Hotel. We were very nervous... the first time we took him as he had never previously spent a night away from us. The minute we met Karen and her team the nerves disappeared as we watched them greet Noggin who was immediately comfortable with them and happily went off without so much as a backward look at us! It was wonderful as it meant we were able to attend a family funeral without having to worry about Noggin. Karen let us know how he was doing and we were also able to see him having fun on the website. When we picked him up he was happy to see us and had clearly enjoyed a wonderful and exciting experience with all of the other dogs.He has now had an equally successful second visit and we have the bonus of a set of gorgeous photos of him which appeared on the website! I cannot speak highly enough of Karen and her team. They are wonderful with the dogs, giving them professional care but also a lot of affection and fun.We cannot recommend them highly enough.read more

My four-month-old puppy, Zeus, recently stayed at Wicklow Pet Hotel, and cannot recommend it enough. On arrival we... were met by a very friendly member of staff who Zeus immediately went to lick! A good sign. I even got offered a cappuccino!The location is beautiful, easy to find and has a lovely, cozy feel to it. Throughout Zeus' stay, I was assured that he was doing great and having a ball. From the photos, I'd say he had as much of a holiday we did, if not better. The staff are hands-on and Karen is amazing. More attentive fur baby minders, I assure you, would be hard to find. A true gem of a place, where you can leave feeling confident that your family pet will be given the 5-star treatment. It made all the difference knowing our pup was in good hands and we could enjoy our holiday with ease.Will definitely be returning. Thank you Karen and staff for taking such wonderful care of our puppy Zeus!read more

Very helpful in an emergency and came recommended. Not my experience that matters however, so much as that of our dog... who came back clean, exhausted but happy. Clearly well looked after and we will be using the Pet Hotel a lot more often.read more

I didn’t stay at the pet hotel but I made an order for some products for my kittens, amazing and professional customer... service from Karen and very fast delivery with a lot of lovely eco friendly pet products! My kittens love their new scratching post and also I received some free treats for my cats in the parcel! The Wicklow pet hotel looks amazing as well and i would love my kittens to stay there if I’m ever on holiday. Thank you very much!read more

Our little foster kitten stayed in Wicklow Pet Hotel for 3 weeks before we collected her. Karen was just lovely to... deal with. It’s very obvious that she loves animals. And also she gave us good advice on feeding. Our kitten is such a happy little girl and it’s clear that Karen and her daughter spent lots of time giving the kitten attention and playing with her. She’s settled into our new home here so well due to the wonderful start she got at Wicklow Pet Hotel gave her. Thanks so much.read more

Our dog Socks stayed here recently on a trial before the Summer. Communication from the outset was extremely clear... making it really easy to prepare for her visit. The facilities are fantastic with plenty of enrichment and engagement for the dogs. We were given good updates during her visit and we really appreciated the time taken to fill us in when we went to pick her up. We both noticed how excited a couple of the more experienced dogs were when they hopped out of the car - always a great sign! I'd highly recommend Wicklow Pet Hotel - we'll be booking Socks back in very soon for a visit!read more

One of our dogs and our two cats had the pleasure of staying with Karen & Crew for a longer period in June/July this... year and it has been the best kennel/cattery experience for us ever. All three were so relaxed and happy; normally, the cats won't 'talk' to us for a day or two when we're back from holidays but this time it was as if we'd never been away. The twice weekly updates during their stay were fantastic and it was really re- assuring seeing photos & videos of our pets whilst we were away. I couldn't recommend Wicklow Pet Hotel highly enough; you would be hard pushed to find a more caring, professional & thoughtful pet boarding establishment.read more

I was a little apprehensive leaving my puppy (6 months old) for the first time, but he had an absolute ball with his... new friends and I know he was so well cared for. He definitely will be going back for more fun times. Its nice to know he is in good hands and being well looked after. Karen and co were really welcoming and great to deal with too. Archer recently had his first stay in Wicklow Pet Hotel and he absolutely loved it! Oscar our dog loves staying at Wicklow Pet Hotel - he also loves the Ruff n tumble drying coat and bed that we brought... from them on line. He is not so sure about the grooming brush but that’s because he hasn’t got a mirror to see how great he looks! Oscar is a more confident and social dog from his stays with Karen and her team.read more

I have been dealing with Karen and her fantastic kennels for a few years now and she and her team are amazing ! My... dog, Tyler, never wants to leave there.. which gives me great comfort while away.Having bought these Ruff and Tumble coats previously, I bought him another as the quality is unreal. If your dog gets wet, which mine does on a near daily basis you just slip this on and besides keeping him cosy and warm, it wicks all the wet off so after a short time he is completely dry.I am posting pics of him in it but as he is major camera shy, I hope you can get an idea of quality.Thank you, Karen !read more

Our dog, Alf, has had a couple of lovely visits to Wicklow Pet Hotel recently and has really enjoyed himself. It's a... really nice, safe environment to leave your pet and know he is in good hands. Our dog Coco recently stayed here and had a great time. I would 100% recomend Karen and the team at Wicklow Kennels.... Normally I would be anxious leaving Coco anywhere but the facilities here are so good that it's like a resort for dogs. We will definitely be coming back.read more

Really brilliant facility for pets and a first class service. Karen is lovely and you can tell she genuinely cares for... the animals she looks after. Karen and the team do a great job. When Barley gets there, he jumps out if the car, heads in and doesn't look back... which is a little heart breaking but I am 100% sure that he loves it there. Its a holiday for the dog (or cat) they have such a great time. Video and Photos on Facebook during your trip are really nice, you can see how much fun they are having without you and how much attention they are getting. Add in some grooming and you'll come home to a happy, healthy and gorgeous pooch.read more
